From start to finish we transform your home back to life.

Media Blasting

There are many different techniques to strip away failing finishes such as Chemical Strippers, Corn Cob blasting, Soda, Glass, etc. In this process we use a fine/extra fine crushed walnut to remove the old stain from your home. Walnut Blasting combines high volume compressed air with blasting media which provides dry process, that allows the home to be sanded and prepped for the finishing steps. This non invasive approach strips the failed or failing finish from your log, timber, or wood sided home without damaging plants around your home, or potentially ruining the interior from chemicals entering the home. This process has enabled us to successfully restore homes in bringing them back to how they looked the day they were built.

Log Repair

If you are in a situation where preventative maintenance may be too little, too late. Fortunately, we have seen it all when it comes to rot repairs on log homes. Call us today so that we may help you end the decay of your home.

Staining and Sealing

We have extensive experience in everything from the Staining of new log cabins to the Maintenance of the finish on the existing surface of your cabins. With the demanding level of upkeep that a log home requires, we are here to help you maintain the dream that log home ownership can be. Stain product selection is a very important part of the process. As an approved applicator for multiple finishes sourced here locally in the Pacific Northwest. We only use products intended for Log, Timber, and wood sided surfaces that have been proven to be the highest quality for your home. We look at aspects such as climate, temperature, moisture levels, UV exposure, humidity, color selection and help work with you through the entire restoration process. All of these factors taken into consideration allow your home to maintain its natural beauty

Annual Maintenance Program

We recommend all log home owners have a regular maintenance schedule. We can assist you in a maintenance program consisting of yearly cleaning and inspections to maintain your log home. We wash your home with a specialized cleaner that removes dirt, grime, pollen, and surface mold and mildew without harming the wood or the finish. As opposed to bleach solutions, the cleaners we use do not upset the natural pH balance of the wood. Annual or bi-annual checkups help to address any potential areas of concern that may arise around the home. Maintenance can keep ongoing needs from turning into tens of thousands of dollars in repairs if they are neglected. Each one of our maintenance programs are based upon the environment and location of your log home. Every Log home is different, Some log homes need additional attention annually whereas some log homes may only need additional attention every 2 to 3 years (minus the annual log wash).

Log Chinking

With the demanding level of upkeep that a log home requires, we are here to help you maintain the dream log home ownership can be.  A well-sealed log home is key to being efficient and  well-protected. Chinking or Energy Sealing can prevent energy loss around doors and windows, and transitions between roof-lines and unsealed log joints. Chinking is also important in preventing log rot from occurring and keeping out bugs, rodents, and other unwanted pests from in between logs.  Whether your log home is new, or an older cabin that is in need of repair or replacement to the existing chinking, call us today for your log homes interior and exterior needs.
